About me

My name is Ashley Jolly.  I am the owner and operator of Jolly Kids Cuts. I have been doing hair in the Austin area for over 18 years.  I specialize in kids with all needs.  I take a lot of pride in my career and it is something I am truly passionate about.


I was born and raised here in Austin, but also lived in Dallas.  I have two amazing kids who are ages 17 and 18.  I also compete in bull riding with the World Professional Bull Riding Organization-- feel free to come check out a show sometime!  I plan to use this business to help sponsor rodeos, especially athletes with special needs in the rodeo community.


I love what I do and hope to spreads this as far as I can.


Thank you to everyone that has become not only my friend but my client as well.  Without y'all none of this would be possible. I look forward to the new clients AND friends to be made

A Few Policies

  • Come as a client, leave as family!
  • It is by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Please book your appointment
  • There is a very strict 5 minute ate policy. I will be doing haircuts every 15 minutes so if you are more than 5 minutes late, please give me a call or go online to reschedule.
  • Don't worry if your child is a little difficult during haircuts. In all the years in this business I have seen it all. As long as we work together, we will get it accomplished. Patients is key.
  • If your child has special-needs or you feel like they will need a bit of extra time during their haircut, please select the extra care haircut when booking. This will give me 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes.
  • Please make sure your child's hair is detangled before arrival. If there are really bad tangles or mats there will be a charge for detangling based on how much time it takes and I might not be able to finish the service. 
  • After 3 no call no shows you will be charges a $15 fee and will be required to prepay for your haircuts when booking future appointments.
  • There will be balloons, lollipops, and other goodies available for your child to have after their haircut.
  • If you are unsure about a haircut style, please go online and search for reference photos. I will work with you and talk you through what would work best for your child's hair.
  • Come get a haircut and have fun! I have fantasy car chairs and they can pick a show to watch on TV. This will help make it as stress-free for you and them as possible!!!
